PhonePe, India’s leading digital payments platform with over 600 million users and 40+ million merchants, is looking for a Business Intelligence Associate Manager to join their Merchant Experience strategy team.

In this role, you’ll drive critical data analysis and insights to improve merchant experience for over 42 million merchants. You’ll own data visibility, dashboarding, and build strong narratives backed by data to influence strategy and decision-making across multiple teams. You’ll also lead a team of data analysts and collaborate closely with product, operations, and automation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and monitor key merchant experience metrics, analyze trends, and evaluate intervention impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify inefficiencies and provide data-backed problem statements.
• Generate insights, build compelling narratives, and help prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts for high performance and continuous development.
• Present findings clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with central analytics to build user-friendly dashboards.
• Contribute beyond data analysis by sharing business ideas and influencing decisions.

Key Technical Skills:

SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Data Visualization, Dashboarding, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Storytelling, R, Python (nice to have), Statistical Concepts

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics or BI roles.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and manage a team.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with business curiosity.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Experience with BI visualization tools and basic knowledge of R or Python is a plus.
